Chad C. Eddinger, 49, of Mountaintop, formerly of Nescopeck, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.

Born in Berwick on January 2, 1971, he was the son of Mary Ellen (Chaban) Ravis and husband Samuel of Nescopeck, and the late Jeb L. Eddinger. He graduated from Berwick High School in 1989 and enlisted in the US Marine Corps where he served for 4 years and was deployed during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. In 1996, he enlisted in the US Navy and served for over 8 years where he served several tours overseas. After an honorable discharge, Chad attended Bloomsburg University where he received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. He worked at 97.9X radio where he embraced his love for music and had the opportunity to meet many music stars. Most recently he was employed at the VA Medical center, Wilkes-Barre.

Chad was a member of various military associations. He was an avid reader, liked hunting and was a gun collector. He was fond of animals and was charitable to the SPCA. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews whom he spent many hours playing video games and having Nerf gun wars. He had a great sense of humor and loved joking around to make people laugh.
